This was a little side-project my friend and I were working on, but not currently in active development. The Late Guest (working title) is a cross between Resident Evil and top-down Zelda games, featuring destructible environments and dynamic fire.
The plot, early stage as it was, involved a guest arriving late to a friend's wedding to find the venue eerily empty.
If we pursued it further, I would consider making the game black and white, inspired by movies like The Haunting, The Innocents, and, to some extent, Eraserhead.
I was going for a British folk-horror feel, with enemies pulled from the earth, wrapped in roots and vines.
