Dragon’s Watch is a battle RPG for iOS and Android. I was heavily involved in the early prototyping, game design and development stages of the project. Unfortunately I'm missing some of the work I did on the project, but here are a few examples from early development.
Prototype - Fat Cat Fury
Dragons Watch features the ability to rotate your team around in a dial-like manner, and this early concept for mine was arguably where the mechanic first appeared. Here it was used in more of a tower-defence style, where you'd protect and angry cat king from rows of incoming enemies.
Prototype - Fighting Spirits
As the game concept developed, the art style gradually moved away from cute monsters to more humanoid warriors
Dragon's Watch - Branding & UI
As the game began to take form, work began on branding and making sense of what was a potentially very dense menu system.
Environment & Character Art
As well as backgrounds for the in-game battle, a lot of concept work was done on making a dynamic village for the front end, which could be upgraded and unlocked as the player progressed.
